In this picture Walt Fuller watches the school he attended as a boy being placed at its new location in 1997. (This is prior to restoration and is how it looked as a home.) Look for Walt in the Class of '27 picture. |

| The Bennett School class of 1927. You can see some familiar names! Moving the cursor onto the large picture will cause names to appear. Move it off and they will disappear. (If you have a slow connection you may have to wait 10-20 seconds after the picture loads before moving the cursor onto the picture to be able to see all the names.) |

View of the front of the room showing teacher's desk, cabinet, blackboards, and floor heating grate. (This grate was directly over the stove in the basement so the hot air tended to rise into the classroom.) |

The right rear of the classroom as seen by the teacher. Note the 'drinking fountain' and the door to the girl's inside restroom. The boy's restroom was opposite the girl's and the fact that they were inside chemical toilets marked this as a 'Standard' school (i.e. upscale). |

In restoring the school it was decided to go with a modern kitchen so that food could be served to current users. This kitchen is tucked away in the lower level adjacent to a room where the students ate and where current users can do the same. |
